The Portland Kidney Group serves people with kidney disease in the greater Portland area. We invite you to come to a meeting if you or someone you know has kidney disease. The Portland Kidney Group invites those who are:
- recently diagnosed with kidney disease
- on dialysis
- a transplant recipient or donor
- a care partner or friend of someone with kidney disease.
Meetings are held once a month at various locations. During the first hour we share items of interest—events taking place, news involving the kidney community, group business—then hear an informative speaker and have a time of discussion and questions about the topic.
The second hour of the meeting is spent in separate support groups—one for those with kidney disease, and one for care partners. Refreshments are provided.
The Portland Kidney Group is a positive environment in which you can learn, make friends, laugh, and share your struggles and triumphs with people who understand.
