You’re invited to join us for a lively discussion, interactive activities and great examples of how to include customers and patients in transportation design, planning and implementation of services. Whether you have a challenge you would like to resolve and have no idea how to start or would like to revitalize an ongoing advisory committee, this workshop will provide you with examples of how to approach engagement differently.

About Dahlia
Through a process of involving community members and people with kidney disease as well as medical and transportation professionals, Ride Connection went to the heart of existing transportation challenges for people who receive dialysis treatment. We found that without reliable, flexible and affordable transportation, people need transportation to treatment experienced negative health impacts. With the information gleaned from our inclusionary process, we recently started a pilot project to address these important issues around transportation.

Portland Patient Picnic August 23!!

This year's National Kidney Foundation Patient Professional and Community Picnic will be held at Peninsula Park, on August 23, 2015. Come enjoy music and food,with friends and partners in fighting kidney disease. We had a great turn out last year and enjoyed getting to know the wonderful community here in Portland. The Picnic will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm please also bring a dish to share and enjoy with others!
